37 weeks

Had my 37 week appointment today! I was so excited all day because I thought the Dr would check me internally and tell me I was dilated. Well I think he is the only Dr who waits until 38 weeks. Owell. On a positive note I get to go back Tuesday so he can check my blood pressure again. On a bad note it was too high today (138/83). High enough for him to order me to stop working. :( But not so bad that he wants to induce. I dont wanna waste any days sitting around waiting. It was probably only high bc I teach 6 yr olds! Will update more when I go back Tuesday!

No AC

Our AC has been acting up since Sunday evening. It just kept freezing up. So we would turn it off and wait and then turn it on and check to see if it was still freezing. Well we never put the door back on because we were checking it! Apparently the system will continue to freeze until the door is back on.... So we had the guy come out and he did all these tests and turns out nothing was wrong but a darn door!!! SO we payed 65 dollars to be told we need to put the door back on! Owell after 4 days with out AC and the fear that it would cost a fortune 65 bucks is fine with me!
So I am 35 weeks pregnant today! It seems to be going by pretty fast! I remember thinking back when I was 8 weeks that I would never get to this stage! We were looking at little alien baby things and now there is a real live baby in there. I get an email weekly from Babycenter.com updating and reminding me I am 35 weeks etc. According to baby center she is about 5 lbs and 18-19 inches. The weight of a honey dew melon. I have had two fabulous baby showers and I feel 97% ready to have this baby. I still need to pack a bag and clean up the rest of her room! I would love to get the house spotless as well!
