We made it to the Pumpkin Patch today! We plan on spending Halloween at Grandma Sara's and Grandpa Marcus' house. They have decorated and are dressing up to pass out candy! Here are a few pics from today's visit to the Patch!

Life is great in the Dean household! Bailey had her 2 week appointment yesterday and she has already grown so much! She is now 7.5 lbs and 22 1/4 inches long. So no surprise to everyone she is tall! She is in the 97th percentile for height and the 30th for weight! So right now we have a tall slender baby! She is awake during the day more and more. She is sleeping a 4 hour stretch at night! Woohoo for me! I am breastfeeding so I have to get up every time she gets up! She seems to be hungry a lot lately. Kyleigh came to stay with us for the first time since Bailey was born and did great! She was a huge help! We went to the pumpkin patch and snapped some great photos only to get home and they were deleted from the camera. So we need to go back again. Kyleigh also got to go see Beauty and The Beast at the Majestic Theatre with her Grandma Gail this weekend. She dressed up as Bell. All in all we had a great weekend and I am loving this staying at home thing!

Bailey is here!

I was induced last Wednesday October 6th! Bailey came into this world at 7:24 pm. Just like my pregnancy my labor was fairly easy and without complications! Thank you Lord! She weighed 6 lbs 11 oz and was 19 1/2 in. She has been amazing! She sleeps and eats pretty regularly. She only cries when she is hungry or when we change her- she doesnt like a cold bottom! I have been nursing and wow is it exhausting! When she isnt nursing I am pumping. And we when are doing either of those things we are napping. Im so thankful to be off work and able to go through this part while I can sleep when she does and trust me I usually do! She had an appointment this past Monday and had already grown to 21 inches. She lost her umbilical cord yesterday so she had her first real bath today. I never knew how hard being a mommy was but whew I do now! So for all those mommy's out there especially my own thank you for all the hard work! And I am so proud and elated to be a part of the club. I love her so much and cant believe she is mine!
